Every week we see new members come through the door who are nervous about trying their first fitness class.
In fact, we asked all of our current members how they felt before their first class at Seven Movement, and the majority said they were either nervous or apprehensive.
Starting a new fitness programme, especially if you’re quite unfit, can be daunting. And it’s definitely outside most peoples’ comfort zones.
We asked the same members how they felt AFTER their first class at Seven Movement, the majority said that it was tough but they felt a huge sense of achievement, and not only that – they were actually excited for their next class.
We understand the emotions you might be going through – we also have things that we have to do which we’re not comfortable with, it’s a horrible feeling. But once it’s done, it feels amazing. And soon it’s WITHIN the comfort zone… and then all that’s left to do is enjoy the benefits.
Don’t try and commit too much too soon. Take small steps – give us a call, pop down and see the classes in action, meet some members, meet the team and get a feel for the environment. Then decide if you want to take it further and try your first class (which is free, by the way).
Every Saturday morning we have a low impact class that we created for anyone who is starting out, or getting back into fitness after a break.
